K. Megan Boyer, MPAS, PA-C, MLS (ASCP)CM is a double board-certified physician assistant and medical laboratory scientist, having completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at the nationally recognized Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. With over two decades of healthcare service, Megan particularly appreciates the ability to help patients achieve their mental healthcare goals in becoming their best selves as they are moving through the world. Megan has a profound interest in, and passion for, destigmatizing adult ADHD. She has experience in treating a myriad of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders.  She has special interest in exploring the role nutrition and integrative and functional medicine play in the treatment of psychiatric conditions.

Megan grew up in Pennsylvania where she also completed her undergraduate education. She has held several positions within the healthcare team including work as a certified nursing assistant as well as holding a paid internship in anatomic pathology. Megan has worked as a board-certified medical laboratory scientist, extending a career of over 12 years, in both Austin, TX and Lafayette, LA.  She decided to return to school in her thirties to take on a role as a physician assistant and is deeply satisfied in her pursuit of this endeavor as she knows this is exactly the role she thrives in.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys fitness and nutrition. You will often find her baking, cooking new recipes, and creating healthful dishes in her kitchen.  Megan also enjoys as much sunshine as possible and is often near a pool or lake, as weather permits. She also loves working with different textiles to include hobbies in quilting and knitting.
