I was drawn to mental health work because, here in the Philippines, there is limited government support for mental health and a strong stigma surrounding it. Wanting a deeper understanding of psychiatry and mental health inspired me to be part of this field, so I can help educate and advocate for greater awareness and compassion among my fellow Filipinos.

Outside of work, I’m an adviser to a youth choir ministry - teaching them not only music but also in becoming great young leaders of the community. Music is a big part of my life.I enjoy solving puzzles, having meaningful conversations, and discussions about local politics. I’m a feminist and an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, valuing empathy, equity, and respect. I also love traveling, learning about different cultures and histories, and being a supportive and loving boyfriend to my partner.
