Cynthia Frederick

Cynthia Frederick, FNP, PMHNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner and  Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at GPW. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning a Master's in Nursing. Cynthia has built a varied career spanning over 20 years, gaining invaluable experience in various settings, including Miami Heart, Mount Sinai, and Baptist Health medical centers, home health, crisis care, outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs. 

Cynthia has specialized in critical care, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric nursing, as well as intensive outpatient psychiatric nursing. During this time, she focused her experience in managing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and addiction.

Cynthia is dedicated to developing a treatment plan in collaboration with the patient to identify and achieve the treatment goals that are most important to the patient.
