OUR MOORESVILLE LOCATION IS NOW OPEN!
Olga Slepchenko. NP
I got my start at Kent State University, graduating in 2014 with my ACGNP. Before that, I was knee-deep in the world of ICU nursing for about 8 years at the Cleveland Clinic. Then, I packed my bags for North Carolina, where I switched gears to work as a Hospitalist NP and a PCP. Life took a turn when I became a mom and faced a challenging bout with postpartum depression. It was a tough time, but it piqued my interest in psychiatry in a big way.

Realizing just how much of a stigma there is about mental health, I felt a strong pull to help out. Since 2016, I've been working with psychiatric patients in assisted living facilities and nursing homes, and guess what? I absolutely love it! Right now, I'm leveling up my skills at the University of Cincinnati in their DNP PMHNP program, and I'm super excited to be part of the amazing team at Gupta Psychiatry.

My mission? To give mental health the spotlight it deserves. I'm guided by this awesome quote: "There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in," which is so spot-on for psychiatry.
When I'm off the clock, you'll find me at home in Apex, North Carolina, hanging out with my 7-year-old superstar David, my parents who've just moved here from the Russia-Ukraine border, and our two furballs who are adorable but emotionally distant (typical cats, right?). I'm a regular at my local church, a gardening enthusiast, and a ballroom dancer—I even get to dance with my son! Plus, I've penned a few poems and short stories that have made it into print.

Oh, and I can chat in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, just in case you were wondering!

So, that's a little about me. Can't wait to make a difference in the world of psychiatry, and get to know all of you better!
